The risk underwriting agency IBERIAN Insurance Group celebrated its eighth anniversary on November 17, entitled #I8erianDay, an event attended by nearly a hundred mediation professionals, representatives of binders and other personalities from the Spanish and international insurance sector.
It was the company’s headquarters, the IBERIAN Building located in the Nervión neighborhood of Seville, the setting in which all attendees enjoyed an evening of celebration and gastronomy, although it also served as a B2B meeting in a more informal tone.
“We are very happy to be able to celebrate IBERIAN’s eighth anniversary with so many friends, a year of transition that, despite the uncertainties of the market, we have managed to overcome with good grades and a lot of stability, something we would not have achieved without the unconditional support of our distribution network and the trust of our binders, to whom we can not fail to thank, once again,” explained Dario Spata, CEO of the Seville-based company.
Spata was optimistic and pointed out that IBERIAN will close 2022 with double-digit growth that will double by 2023 thanks to a corporate growth strategy based on new acquisitions, as well as the expansion of the insurance product portfolio and capabilities through new international binders. “These moves will help to underpin IBERIAN’s leadership position in the insurance sector,” he said.
Cristian Mateos, Senior Underwriter & Partner, said: “Our objective is clear: to stay on the crest of the wave, we have to offer, on the one hand, the widest possible range of specialized products and coverages, and to do so through consolidated and trusted binders. And on the other hand, we want to enhance IBERIAN’s presence and strength through acquisitions that increase and diversify our lines of business. We have been working very hard on all these negotiations during 2022, and next year we will be able to announce and see the fruits of our labor,” he concluded.
