On November 18, IBERIAN Insurance Group celebrated its seventh anniversary with the traditional IBERIAN Day, an event in which the Seville-based underwriting agency brought together more than 70 collaborators, insurance company representatives and other personalities from the sector.
In addition, in this special edition, called “iBuilding Day”, IBERIAN has officially inaugurated its new headquarters: the IBERIAN Building, located in the central neighborhood of Nervión in Seville.
It is a refurbished four-storey building, located at 4, Fernández de Ribera Street, with a modern and elegant design and decoration, and state-of-the-art facilities and technology where the company’s employees carry out their daily work.
“To be able to celebrate IBERIAN Day with all our friends again, and to do it in our new building after last year’s break with the pandemic, has been a real joy for us. The acquisition of this new headquarters was the next logical step in our growth process, and the fact of being able to show it and share it with our insurance partners and broker network, the great architects of our success, gives us incredible satisfaction”, explained Darío Spata, CEO of IBERIAN Insurance Group.
Thus, during the iBuilding Day, attendees were able to see facilities such as the gym and leisure and relaxation room, located in the basement of the building; the floor dedicated to the underwriting area, the new IT area, management and, especially, the roof-terrace with bar.
“The gym, the relaxation area and the terrace are not trivial choices: we know the enormous effort that our team makes every day and, therefore, we wanted to have spaces that allow us to enjoy those moments to disconnect and regain strength. We want us to feel, as far as possible, as comfortable as if we were at home,” said Spata.
Among the attendees were José Nuñez, CEO of Lloyd’s Iberia; Judith Fonollosa, Senior PI & Cyber Underwriter, International Financial Lines of AXA XL, a division of AXA; Juan Marín, Senior Underwriter of CGICE; Pepe Castro, president of Sevilla Fútbol Club, and representatives of specialized brokerage firms such as Howden, Willis Towers Watson, Rasher, Ores & Bryan, Viafina, Albroksa, Grupo Pacc, Eisenar and Cervera.
