IBERIAN Insurance Group attended, last March, an institutional meeting held at the new offices of Great American in Bristol (UK), a meeting that reinforces the strong relationship between the two companies and reaffirms their joint commitment to the development of international insurance solutions for the Spanish broker channel.
Representing IBERIAN were Dario Spata, CEO, and Cristian Mateos, Senior Underwriter & Partner. During the day, they shared a close and friendly atmosphere with some of the main managers of Great American: Julian Bartlett, Group Chief Executive – Europe; Brian Doonan, Chief Executive Officer of Great American International Insurance; David Gamble, CEO of Great American Europe Ltd.; Mark Butler, Underwriting Director; and Paul Dooley, European Business Development & Communications Director. Marcos Lozano, CEO and Managing Partner of MAC Re, also participated in the meeting.
This type of meeting allows us to strengthen links beyond the technical and operational aspects. Trust between teams, coherence in objectives and clarity in the way of working were the elements that marked this day, in which the harmony between the two organisations was evident.
In this sense, Dario Spata, CEO of IBERIAN, valued the meeting: “The important thing, and this is not easy to feel in any company, is to connect with people, and also to know that they are not just passing through. We are talking about managers who have been with their company for up to 25 years, and this gives us an idea of the values, business culture and involvement that they put into each project”.
The day concluded with the IBERIAN team attending the charity gala organised by the Insurance Institute of Bristol, an emblematic event in the calendar of the British sector, which closed a week of key institutional relations on a more relaxed note.
